On Sunday 8th June we held our Annual Sunday School Prize Giving service. The children recited portions of scripture and sang, we then heard a very interesting message on Psalm 23. Did you know that shepherds in Israel used to pour (anoint) oil on their sheep’s heads to prevent them from getting a disease passed on by flies which lodge in the nostrils? They were then presented with a book prize.
We give praise and thanks to the Lord for his goodness to us as a church and Sunday School, for the children who come each week and are so keen and enthusiastic to learn.
