What to expect

We meet each Sunday for our morning service at 11am and our evening service at 6pm. We invite you to join with us as we worship Almighty God.

We continue to enable meeting on Zoom with Meeting ID: 292 960 6969 and you are welcome to join us for the live broadcast of our services.

The services are traditional in format and include:

  • Hymn Singing
  • Prayer
  • Bible Reading
  • Sermon

Bible Reading

We read from the Authorised King James Version of the Bible. You may also like to follow along with the reading – we have plenty of Bibles at the church for you to use.

Hymn Singing

One of the ways in which we worship God is through congregational singing. This is usually accompanied by an organ.

We sing a variety of traditional hymns which are found in the Psalms & Hymns of Reformed Worship hymn book as well as our own supplement.

You don’t need to have your own hymn book as we have plenty at the church, and the words are also displayed on a screen at the front.

Prayer

On the first Sunday of each month, we meet for prayer at 10.30am before the morning service.

Prayer also forms part of our worship services. This will usually be led by one of the elders or preacher.

Sermon

God’s Word, the Bible, is central to our faith, worship and practice as you can read in our What We Believe page. The preacher will bring a message from the Bible, explaining what it means.
